In a world where information is abundant but critical thinking skills are scarce, the Economics World Cup aims to promote economic literacy skills.

The EWC is a unique opportunity for students to boast their ability to think like an Economist. While expecting no prior knowledge of Economics, we are certain all students will receive the opportunity to explore and innovate in the field of Economics through a challenging development case, and various problem-solving exercises.
 

By participating in the Economics World Cup, students become part of a growing international network, fostering a passion for the humanities. The EWC prepares students for a career in consulting, investment banking, and government policy, setting them up in future roles as leaders of our economies. 

About International Young Students Academic Society

The Economics World Cup is an initiative organized by the International Young Students Academic Society, a registered association in Denmark.

 

The International Young Students Academic Society hosts the Economics World Cup once a year.

 

The mission of the International Young Students Academic Society is to promote economic and financial literacy education worldwide. Any limited revenues raised via the Economics World Cup and other initiatives will be used to support underprivileged students with education opportunities.
